Poverty and Affluence in Ethiopia
Ethiopia today is a study in contrast between two extremes, more so than at any time in its modern history. The picture below is a composite of two pictures: a mother begging on a street side in Bahr Dar and a family celebrating a birthday in a private room at a hotel in Addis Ababa.

What is sad is the regime and its puppets try to show us picture of high rise buildings and half/poorly built building as evidence of the economic growth of the county under their policies while at the same time completely ignoring the underlying social well being of the Ethiopian mass.
When will these people wake up and admit the failure of their policies and start to seriously address the acute socio-economic problems Ethiopians are facing.
