The BBC reports that Meles Zenawi is getting treatment at a hospital in Belgium. Here are revealing quotes from the report:
"He is not in a critical state. He is in good condition," spokesman Bereket Simon told the AFP news agency.
"He is in a critical state, his life is in danger," the agency was told by a diplomat who asked not to be named.

LOL this is a great way to frame the situation, especially since the two sentences are almost identical in structure. My answer is I don't believe any of the reports so far. I'm just going to wait until the dust settles and some actual, verified information comes out. I don't want to partake in the rumors and spread misinformation in the process.
Waiting for the dust to settle is a disastrous decision - especially for the opposition. That is if anything is left of the opposition. Ethiopians are fed up but their leaders are waiting on the sidelines for the dust to settle. And then it would be too late.
